THE PUPILS OF THE JAROSLAW IWASZKIEWICZ SCHOOL IN SOCHACZEW TRAINED IN FIRST AID.
IPA Region Sochaczew has teamed up with Mr Arkadiusz Cybulski - guardian of the Uniformed Services classes in The Jaroslaw Iwaszkiewicz School in Sochaczew.
The result of this collaboration was the organization on 27 November this year a training in first aid, which was attended by students of the Uniformed Services classes together with the Team for Minors police officers and the IPA members.
The training took place with the help of "Merit for IPA" Dr. Piotr Szenk. Classes were conducted by gentlemen Marek Nowak and Piotr Gasiński - the District Hospital in Sochaczew paramedics. The students listened to a lecture about first aid and practiced on the phantom.
Much attention was paid to cardiac arrest in order to teach young people accurate assessment of the situation and to prevent them from being afraid to give aid to the injured. After finishing the exercises Members of the Executive Committee of the IPA Region Sochaczew Juliusz Dworakowski and Jaroslaw Gacki, thanked rescuers and handed them a commemorative souvenirs.
Colleagues policewomen gave the participants reflective stripes containing the logos of the District Police HQ in Sochaczew, IPA and B & N (The Safe and Unprotected Programme), reminding about taking care of their own safety on the road.
