IPA SOCHACZEW ON MOTORCYCLES TO SOLINA
On Friday 13th September 2013, the Sochaczew IPA Branch members went on a three day motorcycle trip, with a destination point in Solina. Contrary to earlier predictions the weather on the day was simply excellent and allowed the participants to modify the route “just a little bit”. As a result, they visited Przemyśl, where they could admire the panorama of the city after reaching the summit of the Tartar Mound. Then they went to Krasiczyn to visit the turn of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries Krasickis Castle. Finally, the destination of the expedition was reached at dusk.
The next day our colleagues visited the famous Dam which gives the beautiful view of the Solina Lake and the surrounding hills. (…) Then they rode their motorbikes to complete the about 93 km long “Little Loop of Bieszczady Mountains”. Spectacular views combined with the countless number of turns, formed a breathtaking mixture. The trip ended tasting local specialties in one of the Solina inns.
The last day of the expedition, that is the day of return, greeted the riders from Sochaczew with the rain that accompanied them with short breaks, almost throughout all the distance. However, no major adventures across, the group managed to reach the finish line of the expedition. They made a total of 1,050 km. The participants report that the expedition was a success, as evidenced by the fact that thoughts are already at the next trip (probably in Lithuania) - quoted after colleague Wojciech, “If only God and the Chairman J.D. allow”.
