A training in first aid

 

On 7 June 2013, IPA Region Sochaczew, courtesy of our sympathizer - director of the hospital in Sochaczew Mr. Piotr Szenk, organized a training in first aid. The training was designed for IPA members and non-members of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Sochaczew District Police HQ.

It was carried out by paramedics from the District Hospital in Sochaczew. Gentlemen Marek Nowak and Piotr Gasiński in a very professional, while approachable manner, made it clear for all the participants how important the first aid is. They presented several cases in their work, when well-provided first aid saved people's lives. The paramedics presented the first aid procedure "step by step” using of a professional phantom. Each of the participants had also the opportunity to work on it. There were many volunteers, indicating a serious approach to the subject. The participants had a lot of positive things to say about the training conducted. They agreed that it was both necessary and interesting.
