Visit in Zuzela

 

Several months ago the Board of IPA Region Sochaczew together with Police Family Association announced an action “Remember that doing spring cleaning in the closet you can help those in need”. Our goal was to help children. It met with great interest.

The collection of used clothing was attended by many members of our organization and non-members as well. On 23 February 2012 together with the chairman Juliusz Dworakowski I went to Cardinal Wyszynski of Zuzeli near Ostrów Mazowiecka Special Educational Centre. On behalf of our organization, we handed over the collected clothes to the Head of the Center. At the Centre there are children with intellectual disability, usually from poor families. We were welcomed very warmly and nice. A small snack was organized for us. The Head – Mrs. Dorota Murawska - assured us that each of the donated items would be very useful, although still it was just a drop in the ocean of needs. It is nice to be given, but definitely nicer to be able to give and look at the joy of the endowed. On behalf of the Board of IPA Region Sochaczew we thank for the generosity of all those who participated in our action.
