Something for the body, something for the spirit. Uniform service does not have to be associated only with stress, constant availability, attachment to the work mobile phone and ubiquitous "paperwork". Every human being must have some kind of relief in order not to go crazy, and at the same time not to transfer his/her business problems to the family womb.

And this is what sport is for. When you fall into the routine of training and sweat is running, the head rests. This, in turn, can be combined with activities in the structures of the International Police Association IPA, which, for one of the most important goals, has just set out to popularize physical activity.

We do not shut ourselves in our own police world. The table tennis tournament from the first edition had the character of an open championship. We invited all uniformed services, also from abroad, to Radom.

The sixth edition, held on the weekend of September 8-9, 2018 in Radom's construction schools, gathered a total of 14 teams and 28 individual competitors. The number of the latter increased to the start of the competition, which in turn led to even a small confusion in the table. However, the most important was the spirit of fair play in sports competition and the integration of participants.

The level of games, as usual, high, and even you can say - getting higher. The hall was roaring with cheers of competitors and fans. And that was it!

There were foresters with us, firemen, soldiers. Police and IPA teams. The uniformed (active officers) and pensioners. Athletes who are hard to suspect of amateurism. They came, among others from Szczecin, Wrocław, Nowy Sącz, Lublin, Bydgoszcz, and even – Nicosia, Cyprus.

The tournament was held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Polish Section of the IPA, the Provincial Police Commander in Radom, the Mayor of Radom, the Poviat (district) Starost, Polish Table Tennis Association. The organization was assisted by supporting us companies and holders of the honorary title “the Meritorious for the Polish Section of IPA”. Co-organizers were the Provincial Police Trade Union Board in Radom, and the Integration Club of Table Tennis BROŃ Radom. Thank you all very much!
