Two decades. A lot and little at the same time. A lot in Polish reality. Little, when you recall that the organization has existed since 1950. An anniversary may be "porcelain", but certainly the IPA Radom Region has a solid foundation.

The celebrations organizing committee set daring goals to give the jubilee due rank.

On the first day, on Friday, April 20, the gala was combined with an open, charitable „disco polo” concert, during which the parents of a little, requiring constant care and rehabilitation 13-year-old Szymek, sold symbolic donation - tickets. The IPA members collected donations to a special IPA charity box. The concert took place in the “Strefa G2” Music Club in Radom.

Thanks to the support of our reliable supporters, holders of the dignity of "Meritorious for the IPA Polish Section" from the Goliat Security company, the participants of the concert were able to have fun at the disco-polo hits (genre of populardance music, created in Poland in the late 1980s) performed by the celebrities of this kind of urban folk music. They all played for Szymek (and for us). During the concert, we gave the boy's parents a symbolic check for PLN 1, 170. So much money went to the IPA charity box.

The anniversary gala was honored by the President of the IPA Polish Section - colleague Fryderyk Orepuk, Mr. Leszek Ruszczyk, who for years (formerly as deputy marshal of the Mazovian Province, and now as a Member of the Sejm) supports our association especially in the promotion of Mazovia and Radom, the head of cooperating with us, Mazovian police unionists - major Dariusz Brzezicki, foreign IPA friends from Lithuania, Latvia and Germany, colleagues from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Provincial IPA Group and Regions operating within the Mazovian Provincial Group. The former chairmen of the Radom Region - Jerzy Garbacz and Zygmunt Kot were also with us. There were occasional gifts and distinctions for those who support the Radom Region statutory activities.

On Saturday at the Radom "Koniówka" off-road track, off-road fans with their families could take part in the automotive picnic. The traffic police officers showed their equipment. There was a police car and a motorcycle from the Municipal Police HQ in Radom, a car driving simulator operated by the Military Police officers, first aid demonstrations in the tent of Mazovian police trade unionists, a demonstration of the Fire Brigade rescue operation (cutting a vehicle wreck with injured people stuck inside) with the support of quads-ambulances rescuers crews from the Deltamed company. And in addition - for the brave - the opportunity to ride the track in 4x4 (four-wheel drive ) Radom Team roadsters and historical military vehicles of the Military Group Pilica from the town of Wyśmierzyce. The stay at the picnic was made even more pleasant by the "police" pea soup from the field kitchen and grilled sausages. The “Karasiewicz & son” Dacia / Renault dealer and Kia dealer from the “Plejada” car showroom presented their new roadsters.

Well, we will have pleasant memories, souvenirs and an occasional jubilee brochure. And ahead of us are the years of persistent statutory activity in the IPA Radom Region, according to our motto Servo per Amikeco – Service through Friendship.
