ORGANIZATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT

 

 


1. ORGANIZER: IPA Radom Region, Integrated Tenis Table Club BROŃ (IKTS BROŃ)

 

2. PURPOSE:

  • IPA environment integration
  • Popularization of table tennis, as a form of active leisure
  • Appointment of the best individual players and IPA teams


3. TOURNAMENT LOCATION: Sports Hall Construction Trade and General (Education) Schools in Radom, Kościuszki 7 Street (ZSB)

The tournament will be played on 16 tables ANDRO Magnum SC, with white ANDRO balls.

4. DATE:

January 19th-20th, 2013 (Saturday, Sunday). On Saturday, January 19th from 11 am to 6:30 pm individual games for finalists’ team classification will be played together with an individual IPA tournament. On Sunday, January 20th from 10 am to 1pm, IPA individual tournament and finals will be played. From 1 pm to 1:30 pm show game – team tournament winner with the 2nd league female team (IKTS BROŃ Radom). From 1pm to 2 pm, diplomas recognition, awards presentation, tournament finish.

5. PARTICIPATION:

Applications for both team and individual tournament should be directed to e-mail address: mguzio@wp.pl by December 21st, 2012 on the below application form (it will be also available on www.ipa.org.pl website) or via fax number 48/48 345-34-04. Team may include both females and males. At least one of the team players has to be IPA member. During Sunday individual tournament both females and males can participate - only IPA members. Numbers of participants is limited. Tournament qualifications will depend on the order of applications. The organizer reserves the right to submit a couple of teams to the tournament, as well as invite other international IPA representations, as well as representation of other institutions.


6. FINANCIAL PROVISIONS:

Team tournament registration entry is 40 PLN per team. Individual tournament registration is 10 PLN per person.

7. SYSTEM AND WAY OF CONDUCTING THE TOURNAMENT:

The tournament will be supervised by the general referee. Current ITTF regulations shall apply. Contentious issues shall be revolved by the general referee – his/her verdict is final. Team will be respresented by 3 players, who will play individual tournament in a mixed system (groups and cup system or up to 2 defeats). The challenge will last up to 3 winning sets e.g. 3:0, 3:1 or 3:2. The tournaments will be conducted without sex and age division. Groups drawing will be conducted based on players’ ranking, established by the applicant i.e. the best player of the team placed in the first position etc. Team qualification will be determined based on the total number of points of three team players gained according to places in the individual tournament. Drawing will be conducted by the general referee by January 10th, 2013. Drawing results, detailed system and tournament grading scale (dependent on the number of applying teams) as well as detailed tournament schedule will be available on www.ipa.org.pl by January 15th, 2012.

 

 

8. AWARDS:

Leading teams and individual players will receive cups, diplomas and in-kind prizes in each classification. All tournament participants will receive souvenir diplomas and gadgets. Additionally, special surprise prizes will be awarded.

9. ACCREDITATION:

Teams shall accomplish accreditation at the registration office, both the registration office and playoffs will be located in Sports Hall Construction Trade and General (Education) Schools in Radom, Kościuszki 7 Street (ZSB). The office will be open on Saturday January 19th, 2012 from 9:30 am

10. ACCOMMODATION AND BOARD:

  • accommodation – players will be accommodated in the hotel „Hotel u Grubego”, Warszawska Street 98/100 Wielogóra, near Radom.

The cost of one night is:

- 120 PLN single room with a breakfast

- 130 PLN double room with a breakfast

- Three-person and four-person room with a breakfast, 50 PLN per person

  • board – dinner will be served on Saturday and Sunday (catering) in the sports hall
  • on Saturday, integrational evening, including supper – 40 PLN per person location - banqueting room hotel “Hotel u Grubego

11. ORGANIZATIONAL MATTERS:

 

  • Organizers, during the tournament, provide medical care/ nurse/Organizers do not bear responsibility for accidents and injuries during the tournament.
  • Organizers provide free transport from the accommodation place to the sports hall. Teams having their own transport have are provided with free parking space.

announced accordingly on the website www.ipa.org.pl or directly before the tournament.
